STATE OF FLORIDA (SOF) AUTOMATED TRANSIT VEHICLE (ATV) PROCUREMENT

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (‘JTA’ or ‘Authority’) hereby request sealed proposals for P-24-019 State of Florida Automated Transit Vehicle Procurement on behalf of State agencies. The JTA has been designated as the lead agency for this solicitation on behalf of transit agencies within the State of Florida and those outside of the State that may have an interest in utilizing this solicitation and resulting Contract(s) for their automated transit vehicle (rolling stock) procurement.

The JTA is soliciting proposals for the provision of highly automated transit vehicle solutions that align with our specific operational requirements and prioritize passenger safety and experience, and operational efficiency. Proposals should clearly detail the physical and operating characteristics of the base vehicle (vehicle type, passenger capacity, operating range etc.), as well as the behavioral capabilities and limitations of the automated driving system (ADS) in alignment with JTA's anticipated operational design domain (ODD) and service model. JTA is open to considering various fleet sizes, deployment models, and fleet management strategies. Proposers are encouraged to offer a range of solutions that can be tailored to JTA's evolving needs. The JTA is seeking contracts with Proposers to be fully responsible for the sourcing and delivery of Automated Transit Vehicles for agencies across the State of Florida and the Continental United States that desire to participate as further detailed in scope of work, Exhibit ‘A’.
