Description:

The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority requests proposals for the completion of carbon filter media removal at our Dixon Water Treatment Plant.  Proposals will be received at the ONWASA Central Office Complex at 228 Georgetown Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540, until 2:00 pm on October 23, 2024.

The successful proposer shall furnish all permits, materials, equipment, and labor necessary to perform all tasks described in the Scope of Work, including removing and disposing of existing media and performing a visual inspection of each tank in a total of ten (10) steel tank carbon filter vessels.  Work will be performed at ONWASA’s Dixon Water Treatment Plant, 6661 Wilmington Hwy, Holly Ridge, NC 28445.  Work is to begin within seven (7) calendar days from the receipt of a Notice to Proceed, and all work on the project shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days from that date.

NC Certified HUB Contractors are encouraged to submit bids for all bidding opportunities at ONWASA.
