Bid 26-68-3320 Kentmere Lift Station Modifications and Force Main Design

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide
Construction services for the Forsyth County ¿ Kentmere Lift Station Modifications and Force Main
Design including the following major components:
1. Modifications to the existing Kentmere Lift Station pump control logic and wetwell control
elevations, including the installation of two wetwell float switches.
2. Installation of two (2) new flow meter vaults with associated two (2) new magnetic flow meters (6-
inch and 8-inch), one 6-inch and one 8-inch actuated plug valves, new yard piping and valves, and
associated controls.
3. Approximately 20 linear feet of 8-inch ceramic epoxy lined ductile iron pipe (DIP) at the lift station
site, 2,130 linear feet of 6-inch ceramic epoxy lined DIP force main and 265 linear feet of 8-inch
polyvinyl chloride (PVC) gravity sewer pipe with associated manholes, valves, and appurtenances.
Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting: 2:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2026 at the Forsyth County
Department of Water and Sewer, Kentmere LS, 3289 Glen Wallace Drive, Cumming, Georgia 30040.
All work to be substantially completed within 485 calendar days from issuance of notice to proceed.
All firms must be licensed in Georgia, maintain a full-time office in Georgia, and have a Registered agent
in Georgia. In order to perform public work, the contractor and its Subcontractors, prior to the award of
contract shall hold such licenses as required by state Statutes, and federal and local laws and
regulations.
No firm may withdraw their bid within 120 days of the actual date of opening.
The bid opening will be at 2:30 p.m., July 2, 2026, at Forsyth County Administration Building, Liberty
Training Room, Suite 1010, 2435 Freedom Parkway, Cumming, Georgia 30041, and via Microsoft Teams
