Ohio Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Quick Quote Submission Standards for Suppliers
(1) Compliance with Instructions. Suppliers must follow all Quick Quote Standards and Instructions.
Submissions that do not comply may be rejected. By submitting a bid, suppliers agree to these Standards.
(2) AGO Reservation of Rights. The AGO reserves the right to reject any submission not in its best interest,
or the AGO may decline to do business with any responding supplier. The AGO may cancel or reissue this
Quick Quote at its sole discretion.
(3) State of Ohio Contract Identification. If a supplier is offering goods or services under a State Contract
(e.g. STS, MMA, etc.) the submission must include the State contract number and expiration date. The AGO
may give preference to suppliers on a State contract, even if their pricing is higher than non-contract responses.
(4) Applicable Laws.
Governing Law. This procurement and any resulting purchase shall be governed by the laws of the State
of Ohio.
Invalid Terms. Any term deemed void or unenforceable under Ohio law (including the Ohio
Constitution and ORC 9.27) will be removed, with the remaining provisions remaining in effect.
Certification of Funds. In accordance with ORC 126.07, performance by the AGO is contingent upon
appropriated funds. If funding is not continued by the Ohio General Assembly, the purchase will
terminate without further AGO obligation.
(5) Submission of Terms and Conditions. If a supplier requires the AGO to review specific terms and
conditions, those must be submitted with the bid. Unless explicitly agreed to in writing by the AGO, no supplier
terms or conditions will be valid or enforceable “Click-through,” “shrink-wrap,” “browse-wrap,” or unilateral
terms are not binding. AGO employees are not authorized to modify these Standards.
IF APPLICABLE:
(6) Software License. If a supplier is reselling software (including licenses), supplier warrants that: (1) supplier
has the right to grant the license, (2) supplier has all necessary permissions to sell and the AGO may use the
software for business purposes, (3) in the event the supplier is not the provider of the product, the License
Provider’s terms apply but in case of any conflict, these Standards shall control.
(7) BCI Visitor Policy. All supplier employees, subcontractors, and subcontractor employees are subject to
the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s (BCI) Visitor and Non-FOP AGO Employee DNA Sample
Collection protocol attached to this Quick Quote.
