Request for Proposal (RFP)
Title: Garbage Collection Services for the Wabush Airport
Trade Agreements:
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the following trade agreements:
• Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA)
• Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
• Canada-Chili Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA)
• Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement
• Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement
• Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement
• Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA).
Description of Requirement:
Transport Canada, has a requirement for a Contractor to provide garbage collection services at the Wabush Airport. The Contractor is to supply all labour, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to perform the garbage collection services at the Wabush Airport, in Wabush, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Period of the Contract:
The period of the Contract is from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028, with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period under the same terms and conditions.
Enquiries – Bid Solicitation:
All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than three (3) business days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be addressed prior to the bid closing date.
Process and Selection Methodology:
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The Lowest Bid meeting all the mandatory requirements will be recommended for award of contract.
Security Requirement:
There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/07/01.
