Summary
The intent of this invitation for bids is to enter a term contract for CDL Training & Testing. It is the intent of these plans and specifications to provide for a general contractor who shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform in a professional manner for the CDL Training & Testing as described in the specifications and bid document.
SCOPE OF WORK
The City of Kalamazoo is seeking bids from a qualified firm to provide CDL license training and testing for eligible staff members per their collective bargaining agreement which enable new apprentices to receive their CDL license and continue employment as a CDL licensed driver and current staff the ability to move up in their municipal programs.
The successful respondent shall:
• Provide CDL training and the opportunity to test for CDL license trainee
• Provide retest opportunities should the employee be unable to pass the initial test
The bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment, and other means necessary for performing and completing the work.
