JH26-26: France Canyon Fire Chaining Project - 2025

The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide:The work includes one-way chaining consisting of up to 612 burned acres. And a two-way green chaining of 408 acres. This project is located on SITLA and Private Properties. This work will be implemented in pinyon and juniper areas and sagebrush along with open burned scars. This work will be accomplished using Two (2) D-8 or D-9 equivalent steel tracked dozer’s with drawbars capable of pulling a 180-foot “Ely” anchor chain weighing approximately 24,000 lbs. Contractor will furnish tracked dozers and operators, and all supporting equipment, supplies, fuels, transportation, and incidentals for the entire project.
Mandatory Site Visit: None
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: CONTRACT TIME – November 25th, 2025 - December 31st, 2025.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
