The NYC Department Of Probation (DOP) is releasing a concept paper to obtain feedback that will assist with the development of an upcoming request for proposals (RFP)  for the Parent Support program.
The Parent Support Program is designed to provide families with guidance and peer-based coaching to strengthen their ability to support young people connected to the juvenile justice system. Parent Coaches, available in all five boroughs, help families navigate probation conditions, access services, and develop skills to advocate for their children.
The Parent Support Program recognizes parents and caregivers as critical partners in youth success. Families are are assisted in navigating through complex systems including probation, courts, schools, mental health services, and child-welfare agencies.

All feedback or questions to the concept paper must be submitted via the City's digital procurement system through responding to the questions tab. If you do not already have a PASSport account, select the tab "click to create a PASSport Account" on that page. All comments and feedback regarding this Concept Paper are due no later than 2:00PM on February 27, 2026.

Anticipated Number of Awards: Up to 5.

DOP welcomes your feedback and suggestions and looks forward to public comments.
