INVITATION FOR BIDS WILKES COUNTY, GEORGIA FISCAL YEAR 2026 GDOT LMIG PROJECT. PROJECT CONSISTS OF TRAFFIC CONTROL, FULL DEPTH RECLAMATION, RESURFACING, AND RESTRIPING OF 3 COUNTY ROADS. Sealed proposals for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to successfully accomplish the following work will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Wilkes County, Georgia, 23 Court Street, Washington, Georgia 30673, until 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 11, 2025. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Thursday, September 11, 2025 @ 10:30 a.m. in the Wilkes County Board of Commissioners Meeting Room 219 in the Courthouse located at 23 Court Street, Washington, Georgia 30673. Ms. Karen Burton, Wilkes County Administrator/County Clerk, will be WILKES COUNTY's contact person for acquiring bid packages. Blank bid forms may be picked up at the WILKES COUNTY Commissioners Office at 23 Court Street, Room 222, Washington Georgia in the Wilkes County Courthouse. Contract Time: All work is to be accomplished within 6 months of the Project Notice-To-Proceed-Date supplied by Wilkes County Successful bidder will strictly adhere to all Georgia DOT Regulations, Current Standards and Specifications, all Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices guidelines, and all requirements included in the Project Agreement between WILKES COUNTY and the successful bidder.
