INVITATION FOR BIDS
DOUGLASVILLE-DOUGLAS COUNTY WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY
BEAR CREEK WATER PLANT
HIGH SERVICE PUMP ADDITION 1B #309
Sealed Bids will be received by the Authority at its Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 until the date and time listed below for the project titled BEAR CREEK WATER TREATMENT PLANT HIGH SERVICE PUMP ADDITION. Bids shall be sealed and mailed or delivered to the Authority so that they are received no later than the date and time listed below. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Bids shall be received by 2:00 local time, on Wednesday February 25, 2026.
A non¿mandatory pre¿bid conference will be held at the Authority' s Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 on the date and time listed below.
Non-Mandatory Pre¿Bid Conference shall be at 10:00 am local time on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Contractor shall hold a Utility Contractors License . The appropriate State of Georgia Utility Contractors License Number should appear on the face of the sealed bid envelope . Sealed bids will be accepted at the Authority prior to the bid opening, but no bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for the period of at least 60 days, except as allowed by state law.
The work to be accomplished consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, personnel, plus perform all the necessary labor to construct a complete and functioning project as follows :
This project will consist of Contractor installing an additional 2500 hp High Service Pump in the existing High Service Pump Station Building and installing a High Service Pump Variable Speed Drive and Control Panel in the existing Electrical Building.
This project includes installing New Pump 48" diameter Discharge Piping and Valves, 24" diameter Pump Ball Check Valve, wiring and conduit for providing power and instrumentation SCADA Controls .
