Clinical Imaging

Project Description: The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSA) is seeking proposals for a comprehensive oncology Clinical Imaging and tumor measurement solution to support and standardize clinical research tumor measurement data, trial management, radiology review workflows, and data integration across multiple modalities and trial environments. The solution must enable secure acquisition, storage, transfer, and analysis of imaging data while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, where applicable).
UTHSA currently supports multiple concurrent clinical research programs, requiring scalable infrastructure capable of handling radiology imaging (DICOM), digital pathology, and emerging imaging modalities. A unified platform is desired to improve interoperability, streamline workflows, enable centralized data management, and enhance collaboration between investigators, sponsors, imaging core labs, and external partners.
Special circumstances include the need for rapid onboarding of studies, integration with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, support for decentralized trials, and alignment with industry-standard imaging platforms.
