The Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all necessary labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, and conveyances, mobilization and demobilization as necessary to provide for tree clearing and woody vegetation removal from the entire right-of-way for the new Norfolk to Stanton North 115kV transmission line including a segment of new distribution line as shown on ATTACHMENT D, “Transmission Line Route Map”. The work under this Contract shall include, but not be limited to; tree and brush removal, tree trimming, side trimming, disposal of waste and debris, application of herbicides, cutting and chipping, mowing, and all other requirements as specified in these Contract Documents.

A non-mandatory pre-bid teleconference for prospective Bidders will be held on December 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., CST. The purpose of the teleconference will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility, while participating on the teleconference to ask any questions necessary to submit a bid that is complete and responsive. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this teleconference. If you plan to participate in the pre-bid teleconference, call in information can be found on the ProcureWare website at www.nppd.com under Bids & Contracts.
