Description
In recent years, the technological advancements in the field of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) has made the cost of sequencing more accessible than ever before. In an effort to both modernize equipment capabilities and improve data quality, the National Research Council of Canada Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre is seeking the purchase of a NGS instrument that increases throughput and reduces reagent costs for sequencing studies. This equipment will utilize the avidite base chemistry (ABC) to minimize PCR-induced errors and reduce reagent costs. Importantly, the equipment will have the option to be upgraded in the future to enable multiomics analysis of RNA and proteins within cells, while maintaining cellular morphology for spatial resolution.
