2d Expeditionary Contracting Platoon is conducting market research into the availablity of simple Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) to be operated by Marines for the purpose of target practice. All responses must be complant with federal law and regulation, including FAR Clause 52.240-1 Prohibition on Unmanned Aircraft Systems Manufactured or Assembled by American Security Drone Act-Covered Foreign Entities. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with responding to this notice.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION



Small Group 1 type drones operating within a quarter to half a mile that will be used for a shoot. Must be Blue List compliant.



SUAS Characteristics




  • Made of Blue List components

  • American-made, preferred

  • Delivered fully assembled or able to be assembled in less than 30 minutes

    • If assembly required, all tools, components, and support items included in package with unit



  • Capable of omnidirectional flight

  • Has “Return to Point of Origin” function

  • Able to program set flight patterns

  • Can receive flight direction from distances from 0” to 200’ in any direction

  • Simple User Interface for Control Inputs, handheld/game controller like

  • Cheap – Consumable – total purchase under $10k, trying to receive as many units as we can at that price




  • Intent is to kinetically destroy units while in flight




  • Delivered NLT end of September OCONUS
