Project Description: NEW CONSTRUCTION HOMES AT 504 CENTRE ST AND REHABILITATION OF THE EXISTING BUILDING AT 648 W. BERWICK ST:
Note: A certified lead based paint abatement contractor is required on the portions of the project.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Redevelopment Authority of Easton, PA. (RDA) will be accepting proposals for the construction of three townhouses at 504 Centre Street and the renovation of 648 W. Berwick Street, Easton PA 18042 until Monday, October 13, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the RDA Offices, Easton City Hall, 123 South Third Street, Easton, PA, at which date, time and place, all proposals will be opened and read aloud.
The RDA is soliciting proposals for the selection of a contractor who will construct 3 single family townhouses and renovate an existing 2 unit building. Workers working on the renovation portion of the project must be certified in Lead Safe Work Practices a lead based paint abatement contractor is required to remediate identified lead hazards.
Interested bidders must submit bids through the Pennbid/Bonfire bidding platform. No hard copies will be provided and all questions shall be submitted through the bidding platform
A mandatory pre-bid on-site meeting will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 at 9:00 am, where bidders will have the opportunity to inspect the property. The property must be viewed at this time in order to bid on the described work. A prior inspection of the property will not be acceptable.
The RDA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in the proposal process. Proposals may be held by the RDA for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications of the developers, prior to awarding of the contract. Women–owned and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
