Project number 2025-RFP-007 is for CITY OF HEATH PUBLIC WORKS OPERATIONS BUILDING . Proposals are due no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 .
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Sealed proposals addressed to the City of Heath, (Owner) will be received at Heath City Hall located at 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, TX 75032 until 2 P.M. on November 22, 2024. Sealed proposals will then be promptly opened and read for furnishing all necessary material, equipment and labor required for the construction of the following project:

PUBLIC WORKS OPERATIONS BUILDING
The project includes constructing a 10,859 SF single-story building with a 1,222 SF storage mezzanine. The building program includes administrative offices, staff support areas, maintenance shop, warehouse storage area, and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and fire alarm systems. Site work generally includes concrete pavement, water main and service, sanitary sewer main and service, stormwater detention pond, franchise electric and gas services, emergency electric generator, lighting, landscaping, and irrigation system at the Public Works Operations Center, 1284 FM 740 Heath, TX 75032.
No bids will be opened or considered if received after the specified time.
Prequalification is not required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities and/or accept the bid or bids deemed best for the City.
Bidders must submit with their bids a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the maximum amount of bid payable without recourse to the Owner or a Bid Bond in the same amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of the contract, a Payment Bond for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials, and a two-year, 100% Maintenance Bond.
