REQUEST FOR QUOTES AND SCOPE OF WORK STATEMENT
FOR
SHREWSBURY SENIOR CENTER INTERIOR PAINTING
Pursuant to MGL ch. 149, the Town of Shrewsbury is seeking written quotes from qualified contractors for interior painting services at the Shrewsbury Senior Center located at 98 Maple Ave. in Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
All contractors must submit quotes in conformance with this Request for Quotes and the related Scope of Work Statement which shall be available online at https://shrewsburyma.gov/bids and also in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury (phone: 508-841-8508). Town Offices are open Mon, Wed, Thu 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Tue 8:00 AM-6:30 PM; and Fri 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.
The areas to be painted include all of the interior painted wall surfaces in all areas of the building.
Work to be performed under the awarded contract must be completed by February 28, 2026. The work shall be scheduled and coordinated to work around Senior Center activities. Accordingly, work is to be completed over a weekend starting on a Friday morning at 7am and all work is to be completed by Sunday evening. The contractor must be off site for the start of normal business hours by 7am Monday morning.

The Town reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the quotes and to reject any and all quotes if it shall be deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so.
