Sand Transfer Plant Pipeline Repairs

Project Description: The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("The Town") is hereby inviting qualified contractors to submit competitive bids to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct all civil and structural improvements at the Sand Transfer Plant as depicted on the plans and in these specifications to provide a complete and functional system. The project includes removing material within the non-functional pipeline at the Sand Transfer Plant to return functionality of the pipe to serve as a back up line.
Engineers opinion of cost for this project is $151,550.00.

SUBMISSION:
The Town only accepts online submittal of bids through Bonfire, the eProcurement platform linked to the Town website, promoting a greener footprint.
PRE-BID MEETING:
A "NON-MANDATORY" Pre-Bid Meeting will be held virtually via the Microsoft Teams meeting platform.

Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification directly from Town staff, Project Manager and consultants.
AWARD:
Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid.
The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal.
The Town shall have the ability consider other factors, in addition to price, when determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder once the bid closes.
The Town reserves the right to award on an all-or-none basis or on a line-by-line basis.
Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid.
RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION:
Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Town of Palm Beach may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interest when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
