Project Description: Commonwealth University – Bloomsburg Campus of the PA State System of Higher Education invites General Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work consists under this Project consists of concrete slab on grade plaza construction, foundation for a new statue, and decorative site wall/bench elements. Work to include Installation of a new mat slab foundation for a proposed statue. Installation/placement of a new concrete sidewalk plaza as an extension to the existing site sidewalk. Installation of new masonry site walls to act at seats and/or display elements and related site restoration.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction bidder selected by the owner. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000
A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on April 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nelson Field House Entrance on the campus of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg Pa 17815.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EDT on May 14, 2026, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/.
The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid.
