Project Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS
2026/2027 STREET SWEEPING SERVICES
Electronic SEALED BIDS will be received for Street Sweeping Services for all Township roads in Upper Gwynedd Township for a one (1) year period from December 1, 2026, to November 30, 2027, online by Upper Gwynedd Township via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 10:00 AM on Friday, October 30, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
The bid will consist of;
Street Sweeping of Township Roads which consist of approximately 70 miles of road equaling 140 curb miles.
Street Sweeping will commence in April 2027, August 2027, and possibly November 2027.
All Bidding Documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid, made payable to Upper Gwynedd Township. A Performance Bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within fifteen (15) days after the contract is awarded.
No Bid shall be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening thereof, during which the Township may review the Bids and investigate bidders' qualifications. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to the best interest of the Township. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by Upper Gwynedd Township.
