Electronic or sealed Bids for construction of South Beach Boulevard Box Culvert Replacement will be received by the Hancock County Board of Supervisors, located at 854 Highway 90, Suite A, Bay St. Louis, 39520, until 10:00 A.M. Local Time, September 8th, 2026 , then bids will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned.

All bids must be addressed to the HANCOCK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of Hancock County, Mississippi; marke d “SEALED BID TO OPENED AT 10:00 A.M., September 8 th, 2026 ”, and specify the name of the bid project. If bi d is submitted by mail, the address of the Hancock County Board of Supervisors is “854 Highway 90, Suite A, Bay St. L oius, MS 39520”. If bid is hand-delivered, the street address of the Hancock County the Hancock County Board of S upervisors is “854 Highway 90, Suite A, Bay St. Loius, MS 39520”.

Whe n bids are submitte d electr onically, the same requ irements for submitting sealed bids shall apply. Electronic bids shall be submitted online at www. neel-schafferplans.com a nd shall include a document on the first page stating the same la nguage required on the face of the sealed envelope.

Bi dder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing its classification as to the value and type of construction on which it is a uthorized to bid. Contractors submitting a written sealed bid must write their current Mississippi Certificate of Res ponsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing their Bid as well as on their Bid. If the Bid is bei ng submitted electronically through the Online Plan Room, the Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility Number must be i ncluded on the cover page and profile of the electronic bid submittal.

Pr oposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed and deposited with the Hancock County Board of Supervisors prior to the hour and date hereinbefore designated. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening t hereof.

Eac h Bidder must deposit with his proposal, a Bid Bond in an amount equal to 5% (five) percent of its bid, payable to the Ha ncock County Board of Supervisors, as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond a nd Performance Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount.

C ontract Drawings, Contract Specifications, Instructions to Bidders and Bidders Proposal forms are on file and open to public inspection in the office of the Hancock County Board of Supervisors, 854 Highway 90, Suite A, Bay St. Louis, MS 395 20. Bid documents are being made available via paper or digital copy.
