City of Minot, ND 58701
The City of Minot is exempt from state and federal excise and sales taxes and no amount for such taxes
are to be included in the bid price. The attached bid proposal form shall be used in submitting the bid.
Bidders not using the form provided we be considered non-compliant and bid will be rejected.
The City Council reserves, to itself, the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract as it deems
necessary and in the best interest of the City of Minot. Past performance will be considered in final
decision.
Delivery of materials, supplies or services contained in the bid shall be made to the Minot Public Works
Building (1025 31st St. SE), and the price shall be FOB, Minot, North Dakota. The delivery date shall be 180
days after award and be specified on the bid.

Bids will be opened in City Council Chambers at Minot City Hall, 10 3rd Ave. S.W., Minot, North Dakota at
11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026. Bids received after this time will be returned, unopened, to the
bidder. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids.

GENERAL:
The unit described under these specifications shall be the manufacturer's latest industrial wheel
loader and meet the following minimum specifications.
DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS:
The bidder shall mark the appropriate box (yes or no). If the unit does not meet the specification the
bidder shall clearly state the item that does not meet the specification on a separate sheet of paper
and which shall be included in the bid proposal documentation submission. Failure to provide this data
will render the bid proposal insufficient resulting in a bid rejection. All deviations will be considered in
relation to value and price. Deviations or exceptions are intended for equipment or options that may
differ from the specification. If the manufacturer offers a specified product, it is expected to be offered
in the bid.

Because operation of this unit is essential, Service and parts must
be located within 30 miles of City of Minot, ND. Bidder shall provide
the location where service and complete parts inventory is located.
A loaner loader will be provided at no cost within 12 hours of
request in the event of a warranty issue.

Manuals:
The unit shall be furnished with an operators, service, parts and maintenance
manuals to include hydraulic and electrical schematics and problem-solving
guide (can be in book or CD form) and troubleshooting manuals.
City of Minot will receive all tech service bulletins and updates. In addition,
any software or cables required to connect unit to a computer for
diagnostic or troubleshooting shall be provided with a USB connection
to the computer user end.
