Project Description: Murray City (the City) invites bids from firms experienced in providing outdoor solar powered LED lighting systems. You must demonstrate the ability to integrate proposed systems with the City’s existing solar lighting installations and meet defined performance standards.
The project involves providing solar powered LED lighting systems along the Jordan River Parkway to support public safety, visibility, and sustainability. Systems must be suitable for year-round outdoor operation and compatible in appearance, function, and performance with existing installations to ensure consistent lighting quality, operations, maintenance, and long-term asset management.
The work includes furnishing complete solar lighting units and coordinating delivery of fully operational systems. Installation may occur in phases based on funding, site conditions, or operational needs. The City plans on purchasing up to 120 units within the next 2 years. Current projection are 50 to 60 units in 2026 and 50 to 60 units in 2027.
