Synopsis:
|
|
Submissions marked "COR25-00024 – Cold Storage Building" will be received by the City of Regina (see Part 1.5.1 of the RFP), no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Friday March 20, 2026.
This procurement is for construction of a new wooden cold storage building construction at the following location:

City of Regina Waste Management Centre (500 North Prince of Wales Drive)
The successful proponent will provide for all the necessary labour, equipment, and materials necessary to carry out the construction of the new building. The specifications includes the following.

Constructed as a standard wood pole construction building with metal siding and roofing as per the drawings and specifications;

Uninsulated;
-
60ft wide by 120ft long;
-
Overhead doors located on the east and west faces;
-
Pedestrian doors located on the west, north and east faces;
-
Exterior solar lighting at pedestrian and overhead doors;
-
Natural ventilation; and
-
Bollards installed at both the interior and exterior of the building.
Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:
Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement
There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

There will be a site meeting on Thursday March 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST SK which will be held at the new Fleet Training site, for any interested proponents. Please refer to the RFP for details regarding this meeting.
