The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for Brighter Futures Initiative (BFI) Substance Use Prevention Program services in counties and tribes in the Youth Services Regions 1, 2, and 4 -7. DCF has issued a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) for Milwaukee County (Region 3) (437003-G25-0002454); therefore, programs serving Milwaukee County are not eligible to submit a response to this RFP. A map of the regional boundaries for this Request for Proposal (RFP) can be found in Appendix 1, Youth Services Regions
BFI promotes healthy families and youth; school success for youth; youth safety in their families and communities; and successful navigation from adolescence to adulthood. The Initiative supports evidence-based prevention strategies and a positive youth development approach and focuses on the legislative outcomes set forth in s. 48.545, Wis. Stats., Brighter Futures Initiative. County agencies and tribal agencies are eligible to submit a response. Joint responses from two or more agencies will be accepted; however, the primary responder (lead agency) must be a county agency or tribe. The State as represented by DCF intends to use the results of this RFP to award multiple contracts for BFI Substance Use Prevention Programs. Please do not submit questions through Wisconsin eSupplier but use the email address shown in the agency contact information for this event. |
