RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF TOUCHWOOD #248 QUOTE FOR GRAVEL CRUSHING
Sealed quotes-Gravel Crushing-addressed to the RM of Touchwood #248 will be received by the RM of Touchwood #248 until 4:00 pm on March 9, 2026 for traffic gravel to be crushed and stockpiled on site at SE 20-25-16-W2.
The amount of gravel required: approximately 15-20,000 cubic yards of ¾ inch crushed road gravel. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the site to determine the nature of the aggregate to be crushed. A site inspection can be arranged.
Screening may be required- include a separate price for screening and stripping.
Stockpile will be measured for quantity by a third party.
Each quote shall include the following information as described on the bid document: A copy of a letter of good standing with WCB, Proof of public liability and property damage insurance in the minimum amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000.00), An expected start and finish date, A breakdown of all costs associated with this crush.
Sealed quotes and no faxed/emailed quotes will be accepted. No quote received after the time indicated above will be accepted.
The RM will evaluate all bids based on price, estimated completion date, and previous experience with the contractor. Council reserves the right to reject or accept any quote. Lowest quote not necessarily accepted.
Quote opening will be on March 10, 2026 during a regular council meeting in the Council Chambers of the RM of Touchwood #248 located at 102 Main St. Raymore, SK.
