Synopsis:
|
|
The City of Melfort is inviting tenders for the Northern Lights Palace Pool Chemical Storage Addition and Boiler Replacement Project.
The project includes construction of a new purpose-built chemical storage facility to improve operational safety and regulatory compliance at the Northern Lights Palace Pool. The facility will provide safe separation of chlorine and acid storage, improved ventilation, designated chemical handling areas, and enhanced storage capacity for pool operations.
The project also includes replacement and upgrading of aging boiler systems to improve reliability, energy efficiency, operational safety, and long-term service delivery. The work will support continued operation of the facility while reducing the risk of equipment failure and unplanned outages.

This project includes construction of a new chemical storage addition and replacement of existing boiler systems at the Northern Lights Palace Pool.
Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held June 8, 2026 at 2:01 PM at the Northern Lights Palace Pool, Melfort, Saskatchewan.
Bid submissions must be submitted electronically through SaskTenders.
A 10% Bid Bond and Consent of Surety are required with the tender submission.
The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance Bonding and Labor & Material Payment Bonding.
Construction is anticipated to commence immediately following contract award, with substantial completion targeted for November 2026.
All questions and requests for clarification shall be directed to the Consultant and submitted in accordance with the tender documents.
