Transportation and disposal of liquid sludge from Wastewater Treatment Plan

The City of Norwich Department of Public Utilities (NPU) will receive sealed bids for the transportation and disposal of liquid sludge from its Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) located at 44 Falls Avenue in Norwich, CT to a disposal facility licensed to accept liquid sludge. The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to receive pumped thickened sludge from the WPCF’s thickened sludge storage tanks in a tanker truck for transport to a licensed disposal facility.
