Project Description: Scope of Work: Broward County Water and Wastewater Services is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide design, permitting, bidding and award assistance and engineering services during construction related to the improvements for both nanofiltration treatment of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at Water Treatment Plants 1A and 2A and also a potable water transmission main from the existing stub out located at the intersection of NE 33rd Street and Dixie Highway in Pompano Beach to the County’s 1B1 Water Storage and Repump Facility located at 300 NW 66th Street, Ft. Lauderdale (Project). The total proposed distance of potable water transmission main is approximately 6 miles.
Solicitation Provisions/Requirements: (Vendor is cautioned that this is a summary only and the full solicitation must be reviewed). - Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) (Section 287.055, Florida Statutes) - The Agreement is anticipated to be negotiated based on a maximum not-to-exceed, based on the County's best interest. - County/State License Requirements

Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the solicitation requirements. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Bonfire BPRO by the Question due date. The County will respond to questions in Bonfire BPRO (Messages section).
Submittals: Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically through Bonfire BRPO and receive a Submission Receipt. It is solely the Vendor’s responsibility to ensure its response is submitted and received through Bonfire BPRO by the closing date and time. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit in advance of the closing date and time. Refer to the Purchasing Division website or contact Bonfire for submittal instructions. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting a document, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Bonfire BPRO for technical assistance.
