APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This notice is for information and planning purposes only. The solicitation has not yet been issued and will be released on the SAM.gov website by the U.S. Embassy London once available.
The U.S. Embassy London intends to procure passenger transportation services in support of official business primarily in London and the surrounding areas. The Contractor shall provide all management, administration, labor, vehicles and drivers (as required), communication equipment, and all associated operating costs (including fuel, oil, servicing, and insurance) necessary to perform the required services.
The anticipated contract will include one (1) base year and two (2) one‑year option periods, exercisable at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The Government anticipates awarding one or more firm‑fixed‑price contracts resulting from this solicitation to the lowest‑priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror(s). The Government reserves the right to make award on the basis of initial offers without discussions.
A pre‑quotation conference is planned. The date, time, and access details will be stated in the solicitation.
Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a quotation, as required by FAR 4.1102. Offerors that are not registered in SAM at the time of submission may be deemed non‑responsible and will not be eligible for award. Prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to register in SAM as soon as possible if they intend to submit a quotation.
This requirement is subject to FAR clause 52.229‑12, Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021).
Electronic Submission / Responses
Electronic submission of quotations is authorized. Quotations must be received by the date and time specified in the solicitation. Email submissions shall not exceed the maximum size limit specified in the solicitation; if necessary, quotations may be divided into multiple emails in order to comply with this limit.
