Description: The purpose of the Project is to mitigate erosion and sedimentation caused by inclement weather conditions along the shoreline of Baldwin Park. Mitigation is to be accomplished through the installation of 1500 linear feet of additional gabions to existing gabions, dredging 10.0' seaward of the existing gabion line, and the supplementation to the living shoreline vegetation along Oakwood Canal. All environmental regulatory permits have been obtained. The Engineer's Estimate of Probable Construction Cost is $800,000.
