The Calgary Fire Department (“CFD”) runs twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. CFD thrives on having the best and safest equipment to protect the citizens of Calgary and its fire fighters. To assist CFD in accomplishing this target, we require our fire apparatus alignment, suspension, frame repairs and other general repairs to be completed to all industry and fire industry standards by the finest expertise in this industry.

CFD currently has approximately one-hundred and twenty-eight (128) heavy fire apparatus. The services required under this RFQ are intended to be completed on the active apparatus and such other apparatus as may be required by CFD.

The Respondent is to provide the services listed below on an “as needed basis”:
a. Wheel alignment
b. Suspension work
c. Frame repairs
d. Steering work
e. Brake repairs; and
f. Other general repairs
