Request for Proposals
The City of Lawrence ("the City") seeks proposals from experienced qualified non-profit organizations to create a program to promote healthy active living to the residents of Lawrence that includes education and an awareness campaign. This program will be in partnership with the Office of Planning & Development which includes the Community Development Department, and more specifically with the City of Lawrence Mayor's Health Task Force (MHTF), the unit that has as its charge, improving the community's overall health and well-being. The MHTF's mission is to "promote health equity for all through advocacy, education, capacity-building, and networking."
The MHTF also administers the work of CHNA 11 (Community Health Network Area), under the umbrella of the MA Department of Public Health's Office of Health Equity, which extends its reach to Methuen, Andover, North Andover and Middleton.
All proposals must be delivered to the City of Lawrence, Office of the City Clerk, 200 Common Street, Room 107, Lawrence, MA 01840 by Tuesday November 19, 2024 by 11:00 a.m.
One original and three (3) copies of the proposal should be submitted. Proposals must be sealed and marked as follows: Healthy Active Living Education & Awareness Program.
All proposals must include a non-collusion form, tax compliance certificate, proposal pricing sheet, and reference form as provided in this RFP. Separate, sealed non-price and price proposals are required.
