The CUNY Advance Science Research Center is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of the following X-Ray Diffraction System.

1-dimensional "compound silicon strip" detector for ultra-fast X-ray

diffraction measurements.

- Active window: 14.4 mm x 16 mm

- ~3° 2Theta angular coverage at 500 mm measurement circle diameter

- maximum global count rate: ~150,000,000 cps

- silicon strip detector with 192 strips, all strips guaranteed to work at

delivery time

- Cr, Co, Cu, Mo, and Ag radiation. Factory settings are optimized for CuK-alpha

- Efficiencies are >99% for Cr, Co and Cu radiation, ~50% for Mo radiation

and ~30% for Ag radiation

- Energy resolution
