Various Automotive and Equipment Repairs

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the “City”), on behalf of the Department of General Services-Fleet Management (“DGS” or “Fleet Management”) seeks bids from qualified firms for offsite vehicle and equipment repair. The City has a recurring need for repair services and maintenance for certain vehicles (“the Vehicles”) and equipment (the “Equipment”), more particularly described below (the “Work”).

In addition to Equipment repairs, the Work will include Vehicle repairs on marked and unmarked police units, nonemergency sedans, vans, sport utility vehicles, light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks (including trailers and off-road equipment).

The City has an ongoing need for maintenance and repair of certain vehicles and equipment. Current City staff are limited in the time and expertise necessary to perform certain repairs and maintenance. Therefore, the City seeks to supplement its staff through a contract with a vendor capable of performing the repairs and maintenance that are more time consuming and extensive.
