| Description: | CMAR prequalification of first tier subcontractors for the Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Complex Expansion and Relocation Project. The Raleigh Convention Center Expansion is located adjacent to the existing convention center at the current Red Hat Amphitheater site. This new 5-story steel framed structure includes a 50,000 sf flex hall, a 30,000 sf flex hall, and ~42,000 sf of meeting rooms. Three elevated bridges connect the new facility over McDowell St. Project includes extensive AV/IT, acoustic, food service amenities. The new Red Hat Amphitheater will be constructed adjacent to its current location south of Lenoir Street, and will feature a 1-story building, custom rooftop structure and seating for nearly 4,500 attendees. This is an enabling project for the Raleigh Convention Center Expansion project that will also be performed by the Joint Venture following completion of the amphitheater project. |
