The following are questions and answers that have been submitted.
Does this well pump provide system pressure, or fill a water tank ?
- Pump provides water to fill storage tanks that have their own distribution pump to provide pressure to the site.
What material is the pipe made of?
- Primarily all black iron and/or galvanized
What is the size of the pipe?
- 1-1/4”
Is the pipe above ground or below ground?
- The casing and piping to be replaced is below ground (subsurface) and the connection to the rest of the line is above ground. The casing is accessible inside of a facility and the roof has a hatch to allow for crane operation. There is no pitless adapter for this well system.
Does the electrical need to be above ground or below ground?
- The electrical for the control panel will be above ground and the cabling for the well pump will technically be below ground but within the casing. The only requirement would be for it to be watertight.
