Construction Services for MPD Compartmented Access Area in Marion Barry Building

The District of Columbia (the “District”) Department of General Services (the “Department” or “DGS”), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (“IFB” or “Solicitation”) to solicit the services of a General Contractor firm (the “Contractor”) to provide construction services as based on the attached Drawings (Attachment A) and Specifications (Attachment B) for a compartmented access area for the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) at Marion S. Barry, Jr. Building (the “Project”), located at 441 4th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 (the “Project”).

The scope of this project is to build a secure compartmented access area (“CAA”) for MPD. Approximately 400 square feet have been allocated for this CAA on the 6th floor of the Marion S. Barry, Jr. Building. The Project work includes construction of the CAA including, but not limited to architectural, mechanical, electrical, security features, and ADA work.
