APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The United States Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Installation & Technology Division, Facilities Branch, is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to conduct market research and identify qualified Small Business concerns capable of supporting hazardous waste (HW) operations at U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. These services directly support the Directorate of Public Works (DPW).
The Government anticipates awarding a five-year Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with an additional six-month option period. The applicable NAICS code is 562112 – Hazardous Waste Collection, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is F107 – Environmental Systems Protection: Toxic and Hazardous Substance Analysis.
The Government seeks to identify small businesses with the capability, experience, and resources necessary to perform hazardous waste operations at APG. The APG HW Program is responsible for tracking, collecting, storing, and disposing of installation-generated hazardous waste. To support this mission, DPW-Environmental Division (DPW-ED) manages two hazardous waste receiving and storage facilities where waste is accepted, consolidated, and stored prior to off-site shipment and disposal. See attached Sources Sought document for more details.
