Description
This is a sources sought announcement only. All responses will be used for market analysis in determining the availability of potential qualified businesses that may be used to determine appropriate acquisition strategy. No solicitation is being issued at this time but may be issued later. The Columbia Healthcare VA System (WJB Dorn VA Medical Center) located at 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 is seeking Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and vendors falling into other socioeconomic Small Business (SB) categories to provide an Electroporation System which meet or exceed all stated salient characteristics identified below.
The system should have both non-GMP and clinical-grade options, where the non-GMP version is designed to be compatible with a clinical-grade counterpart system. This implies a modular or flexible system architecture where different "modes" or "grades" of operation can be selected depending on the application.Â
The system must offer capabilities for the high-performance delivery of virtually any molecule into various cell types, including primary cells, stem cells, and cell lines.
The system must possess ability to rapidly transfect a wide range of cell quantities, from as few as 75 thousand up to 700 million cells, providing the flexibility required for diverse experimental and production demands.
The system must work seamlessly with all MaxCyte static Processing Assemblies.
The system must possess the ability to facilitate a smooth transition from laboratory to clinical Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments.
The system must be able to support rapid translation from concept to clinic.
The system must include an Integrated Touch-Screen interface that allows for easy operation and quick access to instrument functionalities.
The system must include an Enhanced Software User Interface that provides intuitive use and additional operational capabilities.
The system must include LED Status Indicators that offer clear visual cues regarding instrument and run status through six distinctly colored modes.
The system must possess a Space-Efficient Design.
The system must possess Shared Local Drive Access enables automatic report generation and saving, streamlining data management.
The system must allow for Electronic Signatures help minimize transcription errors, enhancing data integrity.
The system must include User Authentication which reduces the number of passwords needed, improving security and user management.
The system must include an API (Application Programming Interface) compatibility allows for integration into existing manufacturing automation systems, facilitating streamlined operations and data flow.
