Repair Fire Alarms Reporting Network Base Wide
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Repair Fire Alarms Reporting Network Base Wide consists of repair by replacement of forty (40) FACP radios and two (2) Front-End Fire Alarm Reporting System Servers with the additional capability to connect to the Base Wide fiberoptic network. This contract also includes installing, configuring, and commissioning two (2) Fire Alarm Reporting System servers with operator workstations to monitor the facility Fire Alarms Reporting network. The final result of Repair Fire Alarms Reporting Network Base Wide project is fully functional Fire Alarms reporting system that passes the existing Alarm hierarchy from each of the existing thirty-eight (38) Fire Alarms Control Panels (FACP) at each existing facilities to the new Fire Alarms Servers and new radios at the servers installed. The new Fire Alarms network shall meet or exceed Federal code and meet the environmental conditions for the Syracuse, NY.
All work performed shall be conducted in accordance with all Department of Defense policies and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). DoD Building Code is described in UFC 1-200-01. UFC take precedence over State and Local codes according to UFC 3-600-1 Section 1-4.3 In the case of discrepancies among regulations, the most stringent regulation applies.
