The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland are soliciting bids for the project:

DESIGN-BUILD FOR ODOR CONTROL COVERS

AT THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY

CITY PROJECT NO. 2025-02-WRF

Completed bids shall be submitted to the City of Cumberland’s online solicitation website, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 3/5/2025.  All Bids will be virtually released at 2:00 p.m. on that date and available to view on the website. Released bid information does not constitute any award has been made.

Project description:

Replace the following text with the project description

This project includes all permitting, design, and installation of odor reducing covers at various tanks and basins at the City of Cumberland Water Reclamation Facility.

A "Mandatory PREBID SESSION” for the purpose of answering or obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in performing the work, relative to construction details, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on 2/18/2025 at the Conference Room, John J. DiFonzo Water Reclamation Facility, 400 Offutt Street, Cumberland, MD.

A Proposal Guaranty (Bond or Certified Check) in the amount of at least 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000, at the time the contract is executed.

The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
