The City of Virginia Beach is accepting sealed bids from qualified individuals and/or organizations that can provide the demolition of existing stormwater pipe (±22 LF) and end wall and the construction of a constructed wetland, stormwater pipe (±77 LF) and structures, and an outfall control weir on the City property along Sykes Avenue. The work includes clearing and grubbing; excavation to create a constructed wetland basin, pretreatment forebay, micro-pool, and deep pool; and grading within the limits of disturbance. Landscaping work includes planting native wetland species within the wetland basin and perimeter trees.
