The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:
Solicitation Number: IFB#2025-122 Lift Station 24 Upgrades, IFB
Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to rehabilitation of a lift station, including pump replacement, installation of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), electrical and instrumentation upgrades, wet well and valve vault rehabilitation, and installation of a new bypass pumping connection. The estimated construction cost for this project is $1,045,000.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on November 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM, Local Time. Requests for access to the video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than November 20, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Teams meeting link is included in solicitation.
Award is scheduled for the January 20, 2026, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
