| Description: | Mecklenburg County Asset and Facility Management will receive single prime, unit cost, sealed bids for the Briar Creek Greenway Phase 1 Project until 2:00 pm EST., Thursday, March 13th, 2025, at which time bids will be opened at Valerie C. Woodard Center, 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 6000, Charlotte, NC. Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds are required. NC law and applicable regulations of various licensing boards and BDI provisions will be observed. The project includes 2,323 LF (0.44 miles) of new greenway trail (asphalt and concrete), 80 LF prefabricated pedestrian bridge, and a parking lot/ trailhead. Electronic plans and specifications can be obtained from Kimley Horn at (704) 954-7479 and/or by email at Tori.Rock@kimley-horn.com from 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. Mecklenburg County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will occur at Valerie C Woodard Center, 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 6000 at 2:00pm EST., Tuesday, February 25th, 2022. This information will be made available in an alternative format for persons with disabilities by calling 980-314-2503. |
