- Summary:The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure commitment and select preferred firms that provide the best overall experience for our stakeholders while meeting logistical and budgetary requirements. By way of proposals from qualified Hotels/Venues we seek Local Lodging and Conference Services that can accommodate the needs of the University. The awarded Hotels/Venues will enter into a master service agreement with VCU, maintain the status of “preferred,” and benefit from VCU’s mass communications and representation on various platforms showing support of Richmond area businesses. Firms that meet the requirements specified in this RFP will be issued a fully executed MSA and a contract number for future reference to be used for potential engagements. Any Hotels/Venues not a part of this original solicitation that meets the requirements as specified herein may be added at a future date at the sole discretion of the University. The term open enrollment RFP will result in an initial three-year agreement with three (3) two-year renewal options and will allow for proposals to be considered after the first generation of awards are made.
