Project Description: Sealed bids will be received by Upper Chichester Township, 8500 Furey Road, Upper Chichester, PA 19014, until 10:00 AM, local time, on March 4, 2025, at which time and place all bids received will be opened and read aloud for Bergdoll Park Streambank Restoration. Major items include erosion and sediment control, streambank restoration, rip-rap installation and live stake planting.
All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Bonfire Program at www.PennBid.bonfirehub.com at no cost to prospective bidders.

The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid.

A certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Upper Chichester Township, must accompany each bid.
Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification Act, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.
Upper Chichester Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids thereof, and the right to waive any informalities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all of the bids which they deem are in the best interest of the Township. This Project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority.
