Project Description: To provide fitness classes for individuals in the Department of Health and Human Services(“DHHS”) and Division of Juvenile Justice and Youth Services (JJYS”). Fitness classes will be implemented weekly at JJYS secure care facilities, and designed to strengthen physical and mental health, fostering skills for substance abuse recovery and reintegration into the community. Once in the community the youth will have the opportunity to continue fitness classes which include nutrition, creative arts, and service opportunities.
