Switching Services are required when Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) submits pharmaceutical claims electronically from the RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) computer system to third party Drug Plans and Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) reimbursement. Pharmacy Benefit Eligibility Verification Services are web-based programs utilized to verify pharmacy insurance processing information and patient benefit eligibility status that is critical for Pharmacy Point of Sale.
