Description

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide maintenance and repair of the High Pressure Air Compressor (HPAC) No. 1 onboard a Los Angeles-class submarine.



In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov, from 06 APR 2026 – 09 APR 2026 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received one response from industry indicating capability in performing the requirement. The Government reviewed the response and determined the interested party to be incapable of performing the requirement.



The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Ship Building and Repair with a size standard of 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 - Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship and Marine Equipment.
